Sooooo\u2026..I\u2019m getting married in 30 (ish) days! Holy S—T!<\/p>\n

Since I got engaged back in May 2013 to the most delicious man \u2013 my love of life \u2013 Jason Girosan, my clients, friends and family don\u2019t cease to ask me questions about my wedding\u2026.what\u2019s the theme? what\u2019s the dress like? which vendors am I working with? And the most clich\u00e9 (and most annoying question \u2013 lol) \u2013\u2018who\u2019s planning your wedding?\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

So here\u2019s the deal – I started this blog for a few reasons:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. to document the steps involved in the planning of my own wedding<\/li>\n
  2. to share my vision and ideas with my brides, friends and family<\/li>\n
  3. to highlight the wonderful and extremely talented people I am working with to bring my vision to life<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Over the past 8 years, I have been blessed to have been chosen by so many special couples as their wedding planner and have planned over 200 incredible weddings. \u00a0With these amazing people and through their unique weddings, I\u2019ve had the chance to witness ceremonies that brought me to tears, laughed along with guests watching children refuse to walk down aisles, shared intimate moments with mothers and daughters, have internalized the stresses of 12 different brides getting married in one month, have experienced THE craziest mother-in-laws and have revelled in watching the couple whisper to one another during their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Every single one of these moments have made me learn and appreciate the essence of a marriage and all that it entails.<\/p>\n

    And now it\u2019s my time. My time to take everything I have learned, everything I have preached and everything I have experienced in order to create my own DREAM wedding.<\/p>\n

    Before we begin this 30-day journey together, let me give you a little background into the life of Tania Tassone \u2013 Wedding Planner & now Bride:<\/p>\n

    • I always dreamed of a 50-person Napa Valley Vineyard Wedding but I\u2019ve settled for 2nd<\/sup> best: a 250-person affair in Montreal in a venue I am in love with.<\/li>\n
    • I have the best family in the world and am bffs with my mom. And now my mother-in-law. I feel so so so bad for brides who don\u2019t have this same opportunity because it makes the planning and the rest of your life a h\u2014ll of a lot easier.<\/li>\n
    • I\u2019m marrying a man who is an exact replica of my father Rocco. And Rocco is literally the most suitable name to match his personality.<\/li>\n
    • I\u2019m a work-a-holic that loves what I do and literally work 6 if not 7 days a week. Sundays are my sacred day and my favorite activity is picnicking on the canal with Jason and my 2nd<\/sup> love \u2013 Bianca (my shitzhu).<\/li>\n
    • I\u2019m Italian, a foodie and all I do besides work is eat\u2026with Jason. Our wedding is about all about the food and giving our guests the chance to taste all of our favorite things in one evening.<\/li>\n
    • I love weddings and all things beautiful but am not a girly girl and detest the colour purple, crystals, ribbon, diamonds (fake ones \u2013 lol!) and damask \u2013 anything.<\/li>\n
    • My one priority as a wedding planner is to create a day that truly reflects the couple\u2026.my pet peeve is being at a wedding that looks exactly like the last seven that I\u2019ve been to. \u00a0Every single detail in my\u2026.I mean Jason & I\u2019s wedding will be a true reflection of US.<\/li>\n
    • I have a hard time using the word \u2018we\u2019, \u2018us\u2019, \u2018our\u2019\u2026..I\u2019m not self-centered or anything\u2026I\u2019ve just been very independent my whole life\u2026..but Jason is the first and \u00a0only guy who makes me want to use these words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
