One of the elements I am most excited about is our wedding ceremony.<\/p>\n

Contrary to what people may think, designing a ceremony can be one of the most fun and customizable things to do during the planning process.<\/p>\n

Over the past few years, we are seeing more and more couples getting married outside of religious institutions and ceremonies officiated by celebrants, lawyers or a friend who has gotten ordained.<\/p>\n

Each ceremony ends up being so unique and different from one another which is a beautiful thing\u2026.<\/p>\n

Let me give you a little bit of an overview of how Jason & I are structuring our ceremony:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We have decided to skip out on a bridal party. All you really need during a ceremony are two witnesses. Instead we have selected both of our brothers to be our \u2018Man of Honor\u2019 and \u2018Best Man\u2019.<\/p>\n

Hugo (my brother) is a superstar and my best friend. We literally speak several times a day (I\u2019m actually his live-voice google search engine) and he was always my go-to for anything food, wine, nightlife, relationships\u00a0and random ideas. He may also be my biggest fan.<\/p>\n

Julian (Jason\u2019s brother) is a solid dude and him and Jason, though\u00a0very different from each other at times, have always been super close …except when Julian would steal\u00a0Jay\u2019s clothes or lose his expensive\u00a0shades (Jason asked me to write that lol). Typical brother relationship where they know when ‘push comes to shove’, they are there for each other.<\/p>\n

Hugo & Julian are both studs with great energy who completely charm a room when they enter it \u2013 the main reason that they are also jointly MC-ing our wedding.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are including our little furry baby \u2013 Bianca Neve \u2013 in our ceremony procession. Stay tuned!<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 My uncle Vince is \u2018performing\u2019 as I walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are writing our own vows.<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are including Romanian & Italian elements\/symbolism to represent our backgrounds.<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are including a \u2018Wine Ceremony\u2019 representing our union of families.<\/p>\n

7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are having every guest\u00a0transmit their \u2018positive vibes\u2019 into the rings by passing them through the crowd throughout the ceremony.<\/p>\n

8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are including our favorite music throughout the ceremony.<\/p>\n

9)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We are recognizing the special people who are unfortunately no longer with us.<\/p>\n

10)\u00a0\u00a0 And lots more but I don\u2019t want to give it all away before it happens!<\/p>\n

Our ceremony will be officiated by a lovely man whom I have known for a very long time and whose demeanor is calming and sincere. Owner of www.lecelebrant.com<\/a>, Luis Zamora is the right choice for people who want a ceremony with some substance. He takes the time to get to know you and works in some content that really applies to the couple in question.<\/p>\n

Even if you are getting married in a synagogue or church or temple, it is seriously worth speaking to the person who will marry you and see what can be done differently to make the ceremony more of a reflection of you.<\/p>\n
